Visits to retirement and elderly homes, with deeds and words of comfort as many are now abandoned by their families who no longer have time for them… this is a great loss culturally, morally, emotionally and economically, which negatively affects the family status. Young people are often lacking an ulterior guide and a very important figure in their human and emotional growth, not to mention life experiences gained and not shared by the grandparents with their grandchildren, who would benefit greatly in their growth with answers to their many questions.
Assisting in several emergency situations; floods, earthquakes, ecc. Bringing humanitarian aid, comforting and alleviating the great distress that people suffer in such circumstances; many
are frightened and suffer for long time psychological traumas, worry about the uncertain future gets the advantage and give place to discouragement and anguish. Right after the earthquake in Emilia we run to help and faced a very complicated scenery, it was difficult to get around the affected area as some roads were closed due to many unstable buildings, all shops were closed, people were in the streets without food, clothes, ecc, living in their cars. For several months we kept bringing humanitarian aid to Rovereto di Novi di Modena, where also the priest died as he got hit with some debris fallen from the roof of the church. Being summer time the heat was unbearable under the tents, in consideration to the kids we organize a day of relief and recreation to Aquafan in Riccione. Many families still live in mobile homes…
