After long political conflicts, between monarchy and transitional governments till finally a republic, with a resulting increase of poverty and deficiency of childhood conditions… Here the decision of a child sponsorship program supporting several kids at an orphanage at Saurah into Chitwan and Terai, the south part of Nepal on the border with India.

We also managed to sponsor a program “Student to Student” in Katmandu, cooperating with a local organization, consisting in sponsoring university students coming from low casts families. In this program the students are trained to teach by doing post school activity in several elementary schools in the Katmandu valley, with the sponsorship are helped both the university students to continue with their studies and one entire class of twenty children with their afternoon homework.
